Our stunning care home, Ruddington Manor Care Centre, is a purpose-built facility in Wilford, Nottingham. The home is registered to care for 66 residents with various needs, including residential and nursing care. Ruddington Manor is rated GOOD in all domains by CQC. We prioritize safety, comfort, and high standards of care, and are located in a great area with a strong local reputation. We have maintained 0 agency usage for over 5 years by employing a permanent staff team, ensuring continuity and trust with residents. All staff are paid at least the national minimum wage.
We are seeking to appoint kind, caring, and compassionate Care Assistants to join our team. You will provide quality care to residents according to Care Plans and contribute to the smooth running of the home. We offer a full-time contract with an hourly rate of £12.21. Shift times are 07:45-20:00.
Role Responsibilities:
* Deliver “hands-on” care to residents in a person-centred way.
* Support residents to enjoy a good quality of life.
* Model best practice when delivering care.
* Assist residents with their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in line with care plans.
* Contribute to daily records of residents.
* Work effectively within a team and undertake delegated tasks efficiently.
* Promote and safeguard the welfare of adults under your responsibility or contact.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Experience as a Care Assistant in a care environment is preferred.
* Care certificate or equivalent, or willingness to achieve within 12 months.
* Good knowledge of care practices for older people.
* Understanding of the 6 principles of care and their application in residential/nursing settings.
* Ability to work well in a team.
* Self-motivated and confident.
