We are currently recruiting a talented, motivated and ambitious Commercial Manager to join our Ports team within our Mobility Business Unit located in Immingham.
Accountable for end-to-end commercial management across projects, supporting pre- and post-contract stages, managing risk and opportunity, assuring accurate forecasting and compliant reporting. Provides cradle-to-grave commercial leadership, driving value through effective procurement, contract administration and supply chain performance.
You’ll be responsible for:
1. Delivering pre- and post-contract commercial management.
2. Providing specialist advice on contract administration.
3. Controlling costs, reporting and accurate forecasting.
4. Managing financial reporting and final cost.
5. Identifying cost impacts from change.
6. Assessing claims, delays and additional costs.
7. Advising on certification and final accounts.
8. Managing commercial risk, notices and close-out.
You’ll need to have:
9. Proven experience on large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally highways or ports and marine.
10. Strong NEC contract expertise with sound knowledge of construction contract law and administration.
11. Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline; NEC PM accreditation desirable.
12. Excellent stakeholder management skills, demonstrating ownership, value management and delivery against programme milestones.
