Are you looking to start a career as a Machinist? Do you have a passion for engineering? Due to growth, we are looking to appoint a trainee to join the machine shop team, with the view to train and coach you in the skill of manual and CNC machining.
You Will Be Taught To
* learn how to operate manual lathes and milling machines, pillar drilling and CNC machines.
* machine parts from drawings
* use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
* understand and perform tool wear offsets
* complete regular cleaning and maintenance tasks
You Will Need
* a qualification in a relevant subject
* a passion for engineering
* the ability to read technical drawings

* the desire to learn
