Financial Controller
* Location: Bexleyheath

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Financial Controller to join a fast:growing, multi:site consumer business during a significant phase of expansion. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will take ownership of the finance function, ensuring strong financial controls, accurate reporting, and insightful analysis to support strategic growth plans.
Key responsibilities:
* Leading and developing the finance function and supervising junior finance staff
* Preparing monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and depreciation journals
* Managing VAT, audit preparation, statutory accounts, and financial compliance
* Producing financial analysis, KPIs, and performance reporting to support operational decision:making
* Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long:term financial planning
* Assisting with financial modelling for new site openings and strategic projects
* Enhancing finance systems, reporting tools, and process automation
* Partnering with operational teams to improve revenue, efficiency, and overall business performance
Candidate profile:
We are looking for a fully or part:qualified ACCA/CIMA professional with strong analytical and Excel skills, experience within a fast:paced environment, and the ability to work proactively and autonomously. Previous multi:site or consumer:facing industry experience would be highly advantageous.
