SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Stockport Salary: £ £26,228 - £27,593 per year based on 37.5 hours per week Contract: Full time, permanent position. Start date: As soon as possible or September 2026 School Staffing Solutions are working with a school in Stockport who require an SEND Teaching Assistant to support learners on a 1:1 basis. Key Responsibilities Assist pupils with learning activities, adapting support to individual needs under teacher guidance. Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development using trauma-informed approaches. Help manage behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy and Staff Code of Conduct. Encourage pupil engagement and independence in learning tasks. Assigned to support in a specific class with a specific child.
