Assembler
My client are looking for 5 assemblers to work on an urgent project to assist them sending out orders to customers. My client are based on the South Side of Glasgow and are a well respected engineering manufacturing company that ships orders all over the world.
We are looking for motivated individuals, that are hands on, reliable, to support the mechanical fitters and welders in assembling the initial part of the build.
Role:
* To assist the mechanical fitters by selecting and fitting parts and onto skids as required.
* Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
* Reading from drawings.
* Ensure the quality of the work is complete and all required documentation is accurately addressed.
Skills:
* Confident in using hand and power tools.
* Previous experience in a mechanical or assembly environment prefered
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Hours:
7.45am - 4.30pm Mon-Thurs
7.45am - 11.45am Fri
Pay:
£14.00/hour on a basic 37.5hr week
There may be overtime for people who pick up the work easily
