Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join a special educational needs school located in Walsall as a full-time Teacher. This is a long-term position that is available to start November 2025.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement tailored teaching strategies to meet the individual educational needs of students aged 2-19.
* Deliver the school curriculum in a way that maximises student achievement and promotes personal growth.
* Apply effective behaviour management techniques and address the unique challenges of SEMH teaching.
* Build positive relationships with students and connect with and inspire them through engaging instruction.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Excellent teaching skills and motivation; personal qualities that support connecting with and inspiring students.
* Resilience to navigate the various challenges that arise in SEMH settings.
* Recent school-based experience within the last 5 years in a school that teaches the British Curriculum and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
* All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered with the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references covering the last two years, and successfully pass safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
