Foot Mobile Engineer – Electrical/Mechanical

Here at Wates, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Foot Mobile Engineer to join our Facilities Management mobile team supporting our clients based in London.
Due to the nature of the role and managing multiple contracts, travel will be required, so flexibility is essential.
The main objective is to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on HVAC plant, including Reactive Maintenance and extra works/emergencies in accordance with contract requirements on Mechanical Services. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong background in mechanical & electrical works.
About You
To be successful, you will ideally have:
* Knowledge of Heating & Air Conditioning Systems
* Previous FM experience managing multiple sites
* Strong Electrical/Mechanical & HVAC Experience
* Experience as a mobile engineer
* 18th Edition
* C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent qualifications
* If mechanically biased, a Level 2 in Plumbing or C&G in Mechanical
Important qualities include excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task, work to deadlines, and problem-solve, all while promoting health & safety.

* Ensuring all works comply with legislation and contractual obligations
* Utilising CAFM/PDA technology for real-time updates and detailed reports
* Responding promptly to reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests related to mechanical systems
* Covering call-outs, breakdowns, and emergencies related to mechanical services
