Rehabilitation Engineer / Assistive Technology Specialist
Location: Birmingham, Hybrid
Hours: 32 hours per week

Rahana Life, a growing business dedicated to providing bespoke and integrated client centred assistive technology solutions, is looking to appoint a highly motivated Rehabilitation Engineer/ Assistive Technology Specialist to work on a part time basis (flexible hours to suit) at our office in Birmingham, at home or at client sites as required.
This Rehabilitation Engineer/ Assistive Technology Specialist role involves assessing and supplying integrated advanced assistive technologies which aid or replicate arm function. We are looking for a strong team player who can work alongside us to deliver client centred solutions in a cost effective and timely manner.

What we are looking forin our ideal Rehabilitation Engineer/ Assistive Technology Specialist:
* A good understanding of clinical and engineering needs related to assistive technologies
* At least 3 years assessment and installation experience with assistive technology service or supplier
* Ability to use hand tools to fit items safely and proficiently
* Experience of configuring computer based devices
* Ability to design and specify mechanical items like brackets and mounts
* Understand quality control methods and systems ie ISO 9000
* Own car and willingness to travel throughout UK as required at short notice
