0.2 Teacher of Counselling (Level 3)
Salary: £27,953 – £36,957 (£5590-£7391 pro-rata)
Start date: From 1st August 2025
Counselling is a high achieving department in this extremely successful Further Education College. We would like to appoint a new teacher to deliver our level 3 Counselling provision. We want to appoint a teacher who is dynamic, innovative and student centred who can motivate and support our learners.
The successful candidate will have a recognised Counselling qualification and level 4 or above, as well as experience in the field. A recognised teaching qualification is desirable, or a willingness to work towards such a qualification.
This opportunity will be of interest to those with a passion for developing and shaping the counsellors of the future, as well as those looking to gain such experience for career progression. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the achievements of all students by maintaining the highest quality delivery of teaching and learning and pastoral care. The current working day for this role is a Friday, however, this could be subject to change so we would invite applications from suitable candidates available to work any day of the week.
