Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry cum Housekeeping (HK) Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, managing laundry operations, and ensuring a hygienic environment that meets the highest standards of safety and comfort. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the well-being of our residents through diligent cleaning and laundry services.
Duties
* Perform laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and ironing resident clothing and linens with care and efficiency.
* Maintain cleanliness of all resident rooms, common areas, and staff facilities through regular cleaning routines.
* Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of laundry items in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Operate laundry equipment safely and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
* Assist in maintaining stock levels of cleaning supplies and laundry materials, ensuring availability at all times.
* Follow established cleaning schedules to uphold hygiene standards across the facility.
* Support the overall cleanliness of the premises by adhering to sanitation protocols and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
* Prior experience in laundry services or housekeeping within a hotel, healthcare, or similar environment is preferred.
* Knowledge of cleaning techniques, including dry cleaning processes, is advantageous.
* Familiarity with laundry equipment operation and maintenance is desirable.
* Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
* Good communication skills and a respectful attitude towards residents and colleagues.
