Academics are currently looking for passionate and enthusiastic Physical Education (PE) Teachers to work in their partnership secondary schools in the Cheshire West & East. Working as a supply teacher is an ideal way to explore a variety of different schools before applying for a long-term or permanent post, and additionally, supply is an excellent way to boost your classroom experience for your CV!
Supply opportunities can be beneficial for recently qualified teachers (ECTs), as they could potentially lead to more long-term and permanent roles in some of our schools.
Physical Education Teachers who apply for our supply opportunities must:
1. Hold the relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons) with UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS).
2. Have strong classroom management skills and the ability to build good rapport with students.
3. Deliver exciting and engaging PE lessons using your own initiative and have good knowledge of the national curriculum.
4. Be willing to travel and able to reach our partnership schools in Cheshire by 8.30am, sometimes on short notice for on-the-day supply (30-60 minutes' notice).
5. Hold a current Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new Enhanced DBS through us (cost applicable).
Please note: Your daily rate will depend on experience, qualifications, the supply requirement (short or long-term), and the current client rate.
