Choice Care is looking for local people to work in the Blackburn & Darwen area. You must have experience in adult social care, be able to drive with your own car and have easy access to Blackburn & Darwen.
Our clients are vulnerable; you must be reliable and committed to regular scheduled work. You should have excellent written and spoken English to create care records, administer medication, and fully understand care plans and risk assessments.
Drivers with a car must also be available to work alternate weekends as well as during the week.
We provide the best possible care, support and complex care for those who need it, including end‑of‑life care, dementia, sensory impairments, physical difficulties, spinal and head injuries, enabling clients to live in their own homes with dignity and a high quality of life.
We are a Preferred Provider for Blackburn and Lancashire Social Services and provide care for the NHS/CCG as well as private clients. We are a family business with over 25 years of experience.
Responsibilities
You will work directly with clients, administering medication, maintaining care records, and following care plans and risk assessments. You will travel to client homes and may work alternate weekends.

Required Criteria
* Right to live and work in the UK
* Any care training or qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or higher)
* Any care experience
* Driver with a car

Contract Type
Part time.
Salary
Starting from £12.25 per hour; increases to £12.60 upon completion of probation and Level 2/3 NVQ qualification, or to £13.00 if already holding NVQ Level 2 or higher.
