Are you a proactive Cloud Support Engineer with deep experience in Microsoft Azure and a passion for solving complex integration issues? We're looking for a hands-on professional to join our team and support enterprise-grade cloud services for a major client initiative.
This role is focused on operational excellence, troubleshooting, and automation across Azure Integration Services and Power Platform. You'll work closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure reliable service delivery, drive root-cause analysis, and implement security and compliance best practices.
What You'll Do
* Act as Tier 2/3 escalation point for service desk tickets—triage, diagnose, and resolve incidents across Azure services.
* Monitor and troubleshoot Azure integrations (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, APIM) using KQL, Azure Monitor, and Application Insights.
* Build automation flows using PowerShell and Power Automate to auto-heal connections and rotate secrets.
* Surface health metrics in Power BI and Azure Dashboards for SLA and compliance reporting.
* Apply Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Sentinel recommendations to improve security posture.
* Enforce compliance policies including Azure Information Protection, DLP, Conditional Access, and PIM.
* Run monthly service-health reviews with business units and identify continuous improvement actions.
* Contribute to internal knowledge base with runbooks, KB articles, and post-incident reviews.
What We're Looking For
* 5+ years supporting Microsoft-based integrations, with 3+ years hands-on in Azure Integration Services.
* Strong experience with Azure Pipelines (CI/CD), YAML, and release gates.
* Familiarity with ITIL processes including incident prioritisation, change management, and root-cause analysis.
* Working knowledge of Power Platform (Power Automate, custom connectors, DLP policies).
* Scripting skills in PowerShell, Azure CLI, and REST APIs.
* Diagnostic expertise using Kusto Query Language (KQL), Application Insights, and live-site debugging tools.
* Excellent communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Compensation & Benefits
* Competitive salary: £40k-45k, based on experience.
* Performance-based bonuses tied to service delivery and client satisfaction.
* Hybrid working model with 1–2 days onsite in our Stafford office.
* Career progression opportunities into Cloud Architecture, DevOps, or Security Engineering roles.
* Full support for Microsoft certifications and professional development.
* A collaborative team culture focused on innovation, security, and operational excellence.
