Sunday Chef (CDP) 8524
Hours: Sundays, 9:00am – 7:00pm
Location: Holmbury St Mary, Surrey
£16.55 ph
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef to join our kitchen team on Sundays. This role is ideal for an experienced Chef de Partie who takes pride in producing high-quality food, maintaining excellent standards of hygiene, and contributing to a positive kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a high standard in line with menu specifications.
* Work across various kitchen sections as required, ensuring smooth service throughout the day.
* Maintain food safety, hygiene, and allergen standards in accordance with current regulations.
* Assist with stock control, including rotation, labelling, and minimising waste.
* Support the wider kitchen team to ensure meals are delivered on time and to specification.
* Contribute to menu development and offer creative input when appropriate.
* Ensure cleanliness and organisation of work areas at all times.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role in a quality catering or hospitality environment.
* Strong understanding of food hygiene and health & safety practices (Level 2 Food Hygiene preferred).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and time-management skills.
A passion for producing great food and delivering consistent quality.
