Job Role
Responsibility for the clinical team when other vets are unavailable.
Veterinary surgeon confident with most routine surgical cases.
Freedom to define your own role within the clinic, ideally with a special interest.
Requirements
Quality of experience is more important than quantity; however, a minimum of 2 years' experience in practice and the ability to manage chronic diseases are expected.
Further qualifications are desirable but not essential.
Veterinary surgeon with experienced client care skills.
Ability to coach others in the veterinary team.
Surgical or medical certificates are encouraged.
The Details
4-day week (8.45 am to 6:30 pm) plus one in five rota.
Saturdays 9 am to 12 pm, with the possibility of a 3-day week pro-rata.
An additional 1 in 5 rota for hospitalized patient care.
Emergency out-of-hours work covered by Vets Now.
Starting salary of £52,000.00.
VDS & RCVS membership fees included.
Annual pay reviews based on performance.
