They are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join their award-winning team as a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, supporting the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being.


Main duties of the job

As a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, your focus will be to support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing activities that promote residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment, supporting the professional image of the home, reporting changes in residents' conditions, assisting with supplies, and establishing links with the community to promote intergenerational activities.

Job responsibilities

About the role: Support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing activities to enhance residents' well-being, and support maintaining a safe environment, reporting changes, assisting with supplies, and engaging with the community.

About you: Our ideal candidate will have effective communication skills, a positive attitude towards older people, and experience working with older adults in a residential or dementia care setting.

Additional requirements include a DBS check (cost covered by Avery) and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
