This is an excellent post for a Band 6 dietitian looking to expand their paediatric expertise while enjoying the diversity and rewards of community practice in a supportive team environment.
Must have HCPC registration and band 5 experience.
Main duties of the job
Based at East Riding Community Hospital in Beverley, you will deliver care across a range of community settings, including clinics throughout East Riding and Pocklington. The role offers fantastic variety, including:
* One-to-one outpatient clinics and telephone consultations
* Participation in MDT meetings
* Delivering group education sessions
You will work with a wide range of clinical conditions such as:
* Food allergies
* Nutritional support and enteral feeding
* Restrictive eating and nutritional deficiencies
* Learning difficulties and safeguarding concerns

Qualifications and Knowledge
* A broad understanding of relevant policy, drivers and their application
* An understanding of relevant clinical practice/standards within identified clinical area of dietetics
* A broad general knowledge of clinical dietetics
* Current professional registration with HCPC
Experience
* Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) e.g. developing specialist interests
* Must have band 5 experience
* Evidence of paediatric experience
