Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Therapy Assistant to join the Dorset Pain Management Service.
Location
The post covers East Dorset. The team will be based at Poole Community Clinic with hybrid working and face‑to‑face clinics in Poole and Boscombe.
Responsibilities
* Support clinical staff in delivering treatment protocols for patients with persistent pain.
* Work independently, implementing treatment programmes for specific groups of patients/clients, assessing progress and providing advice to patients and carers in a variety of settings.
* Support with online and face‑to‑face pain management groups.
* Undertake related administrative duties.
Job Details
* Employment type: Part‑time – 15 hours per week.
* Working hours: Hybrid (in‑person and remote) as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Experience as a Therapy Assistant.
* Experience working with patients with long‑term conditions is desirable.
* Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required; the Trust will cover the cost.
* Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service can present a valid DBS certificate instead of a new check.
