Lead Biostatistician | FSP | UK/EU (Remote with occasional travel to office)
We're partnering with an innovative biotechnology organisation to recruit an experienced Lead Biostatistician to play a key role in the design, analysis, and strategic delivery of clinical development programmes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior biostatistics professional to contribute to the development of novel therapies within a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide statistical leadership for one or more clinical trials and development programmes.
* Contribute to study design, protocol development, statistical analysis plans, and interpretation of results.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality statistical outputs.
* Support regulatory submissions and health authority interactions.
* Oversee and monitor statistical activities across multiple studies.
Requirements
* MSc or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related discipline.
* 8+ years' experience within biostatistics, ideally in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
* Strong expertise in clinical trial design, analysis, and drug development.
* Experience working with biomarker data and biomarker-driven studies.
* Advanced programming skills in SAS and/or R.
* Experience developing applications and tools using R Shiny.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex statistical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining a high degree of autonomy.
* Willingness to visit the Belgian office periodically.
