The Opportunity
A well-established and highly respected technology integrator within the built environment is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Design & Build team. Operating at the forefront of smart building innovation, the business delivers integrated technology solutions across complex, high-profile client environments.

The Role
The Project Manager will be responsible for the full lifecycle of projects, from bid stage through to handover and ongoing support. Projects span a range of smart building technologies, including:
* Security Systems
* Passive & Active Network Solutions
* Audio-Visual Systems
* IoT Technologies
* Wired, Wireless & Mobile Networks
You will hold full P&L responsibility, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The role involves close collaboration with clients, subcontractors, trade contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage projects from bid and design through installation, commissioning, and handover
* Oversee procurement, programme planning, and progress tracking
* Lead on commercial and contractual management, including cost control
* Coordinate on-site installation teams and interface with other site stakeholders
* Ensure all project documentation is accurately maintained
* Champion health & safety compliance at all times
* Deliver a high standard of customer service by clearly understanding and meeting client requirements
* Facilitate lessons-learned sessions to drive continuous improvement
About You
* Proven experience managing systems or technology-led construction projects
* Strong understanding of smart building or integrated technology environments
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Confident leader with the ability to motivate teams and build trusted client relationships
* Highly organised, commercially aware, and detail-focused
* Committed to quality, safety, and professional delivery
