What Youll Be Doing Youll be responsible for sourcing and purchasing meat and protein products, making sure supply meets demand while protecting margin. The role involves negotiating directly with suppliers, agreeing pricing and terms, and building relationships that give you an edge in the market. Youll stay close to market movements, adjusting buying strategies based on pricing trends and availability, while identifying opportunities to reduce cost or improve supply. Working alongside sales and operations, youll ensure stock is in the right place at the right time, without unnecessary waste or overstock. Youll also play a part in maintaining standards across the supply chain, ensuring products meet required quality and compliance expectations.
