Responsibilities
* Assist in carrying out structural assessments and review of design documentation against industry safety arrangements, codes and standards, regulations, and client project requirements.
* Produce reports/certificates/documents in agreed format and timescale, including data collection, analysis and presentation.
* Create and maintain technical file systems and computer databases; provide administrative assistance as required.
* Conduct occasional site visits at client sites or production facilities as needed.
* Actively pursue Continuous Professional Development and maintain high discipline knowledge and awareness.
Qualifications
* BEng, MEng or equivalent in structural/civil engineering recognised by Lloyd's Register.
* Sound knowledge of structural engineering design principles for steel or concrete structures; offshore knowledge an advantage.
* Some working experience in a related structural design field desirable.
* Competency with MS Office for data management, spreadsheets, and report production.
* Basic project management technique knowledge desirable.
* Practical, adaptable, well‑organised approach; ability to work to tight deadlines.
* Good written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to prepare technical reports.
