We’re working with a global, FTSE-listed engineering group seeking a Head of Commercial Insights to lead data-driven decision-making across its EMEA business. This is a high-impact role at the centre of commercial transformation — turning data into actionable insights that improve pricing, margin, sales performance, and operational execution across a diverse regional landscape.

You’ll be the critical link between data, strategy, and front-line action — influencing General Managers and Commercial Directors across multiple countries to embed insight into decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

* Own and drive the commercial insights agenda across the EMEA region, focusing on margin, pricing, and sales performance.
* Translate data into decision-support tools, business cases, and insight-driven narratives that land with senior commercial stakeholders.
* Collaborate closely with GMs, Sales Directors, and the central commercial function to align insights with business priorities.
* Build credibility and challenge stakeholders where needed to push recommendations into action.
* Lead cross-regional projects, deliver ROI tracking, and improve the visibility and accessibility of commercial data.
* Represent EMEA performance in executive forums, influencing strategic decisions at divisional level.
* Identify and resolve ‘sticky’ commercial problems — acting as a proactive partner, not just a data provider.

What We’re Looking For

* Strong experience in multi-entity, international B2B environments – ideally in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial products.
* Proven success delivering commercial insights across margin, pricing, or sales operations.
* Comfortable working in matrix organisations and dealing directly with regional GMs and commercial leads.
* A blend of strategic thinking and operational delivery – you know how to build the case, but also how to land it.
* Assertive and proactive — able to push insights through resistance while understanding the culture and context.
* Adept at stakeholder management across multiple countries and business units.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complexity and influence non-technical audiences.
