We are recruiting an experienced Sous Chef at Bryngarw House. You will play an integral role at our signature wedding venue, working with the Head Chef to manage the kitchen team and ensuring a successful dining experience for all guests.
Applicants will need to have a Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Professional Cookery or similar or be able to demonstrate competence through experience. Essential criteria include knowledge of ingredients and how to serve them, practical knowledge and experience of complying with relevant legislation and industry best practice and excellent time management skills to ensure food is served on time. Successful candidates will need a Level 2 Food Hygiene Qualification.
The ideal person for this role will be forward thinking with a high degree of initiative, have a guest and service orientated approach, and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing multiple priorities. We are looking for a friendly and approachable individual who is well-presented, professional with a can-do attitude.
