Admin / Clerical Officer — Permanent Contract — Part Time, Term Time only plus 5 days — Variable hours contract range 12 – 25 hours, initially 18 hours per week — Band 4 point 7 to 11 (depending on qualifications and experience) £26,403 to £28,142 (FTE) per annum (£11,082 to £11,812 pro rata).

Appointment
Our governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, forward thinking and highly motivated Clerical Officer to join their very successful team from Monday, 20th April 2026, subject to availability.
Responsibilities
You will be required to take responsibility for the running of the administrative, financial and organisational processes within the school, be the welcoming face of the school and undertake all training to comply with this role, including around your safeguarding responsibilities.
This post is essential to ensure that the staff team is supported in providing a high quality education for our pupils.
Requirements
* Be solution focused
* Have very good numeracy and literacy skills;
* Have NVQ level 4 in a relevant discipline or experience in relevant disciplines;
* Experience of managing and developing administrative systems;
* Effective use of specialist ICT packages;
* Good ICT and keyboard skills;
* Ability to work with children and adults;
* Ability to work as part of a team;
* Ability to self-evaluate learning needs and actively seek learning opportunities.
* Have a sense of humour and the ability to keep calm in a crisis.
This role offers flexible working hours within the school day and will be discussed at interview.
