Sales & Events Manager – London Caterer

£35,000-48,000 plus commission

We’re looking for an exceptional Sales & Events Manager to join a fantastic catering team and lead the delivery of seamless events from start to finish.
About the Role
As the Sales & Events Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end event management, from initial enquiry through to post-event wrap-up. You’ll nurture client relationships, develop tailored proposals, manage operations, and ensure every event reflects our commitment to outstanding service and creative catering. The company does have a strong operations team so you will not be needed to stay to the very end of the events.
* Manage the full event lifecycle: enquiry, proposal, planning, delivery, and debrief
* Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate, private clients, agents and venues
* Develop creative event concepts aligned with client objectives
* Prepare proposals, budgets, and detailed event schedules
* Liaise with chefs, operations, and service teams to ensure seamless delivery
* Attend site visits, tastings, and event days
* Drive sales growth through proactive outreach, networking, and venue partnerships
* Represent the business at industry events, showcases, and client meetings
About You
* Proven experience in end-to-end event management within a catering or hospitality environment
* Strong knowledge of London’s unique venues (museums, galleries, heritage sites, blank canvas spaces, etc.)
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills
* Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while staying calm under pressure
* Commercially minded with a track record of meeting sales targets
* Willing to work evenings/weekends when required for events ad hoc
