Engineering Support Specialist - Configuration Management (Aerospace)
Location: Yeovil (on-site)
PAYE SALARY: £30,000 - £35,000
Contract: 6 months (with potential to extend)
Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00-17:00 (some flexibility)
We're recruiting for an Engineering Support Specialist to join a leading Aerospace organisation based in Yeovil. This is a great opportunity for someone with configuration, engineering support or strong technical admin experience who wants to work in a structured, process-driven environment.
The role
Working as part of the on-site engineering team, you will:
* Provide Configuration Management support to engineers at all levels.
* Support and follow robust configuration management processes and procedures.
* Assist with tracking, controlling and updating engineering configuration data.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help resolve configuration issues.
* Provide guidance to engineering teams on configuration management best practice.
* Work to pre-defined processes, standards and guidelines under close supervision.
* Report into the on-site manager and escalate risks or issues where required.
