Our client, a leading provider in the automotive sector, is currently seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team in Leamington Spa on a contract basis. You will be working on the week day night shift, contributing to the high-quality standards of transmission components, primarily for the motorsport and aerospace industries. Key Responsibilities: Interpreting and inspecting components from drawings and planning route cards to ensure they meet the highest quality standards. Utilising manual measuring equipment to check parts against drawing or planning requirements. Programming and operating CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) equipment, with a preference for knowledge in Mitutoyo software. Collaborating in a small team to deliver high-quality transmission components. Applying a proactive and innovative approach to team support, focusing on problem-solving and continuous improvement. Assisting other areas of manufacturing as needed. Being flexible and willing to work additional hours to meet delivery deadlines. Job Requirements: Experience in quality engineering with a strong understanding of technical drawings and geometric tolerances. Ability to work with both manual measuring equipment and CMM tools. Proficiency in programming CMM and familiarity with Mitutoyo software is advantageous. Commitment to delivering high-quality components with a right-first-time approach.
