Head of Fleet – UK Leading Rental & Mobility Provider
Working for a market-leading rental and mobility provider, the Head of Fleet will oversee the UK fleet to maximize expenditure and deliver the highest possible level of service to business and customers.
The Head of Fleet is responsible for delivering excellence in all fleet aspects to provide value-added, customer-focused commercial vehicle fleet and administrative support.
Managing a small team, this is a fast-paced role within a forward-thinking, innovative, and rapidly growing business.
Key responsibilities include:
* Collaborate with the operational team to manage the fleet and allocate resources throughout the lifecycle.
* Manage both own and client commercial fleets.
* Pursue continuous improvement by reviewing processes and identifying new efficiencies, underpinned by SMART working principles.
* Serve as the primary contact for policy-related matters.
* Establish efficient SMR operations to minimize fleet downtime.
* Develop and maintain SMR systems and procedures for consistent performance.
* Ensure vehicles are serviced properly, with full service history at end-of-life.
* Manage fleet and repair supplier costs to ensure value and cost efficiency.
* Stay informed about industry developments and identify areas for improvement.
* Champion road safety and compliance initiatives.

Profile:
Operational automotive experience is essential. Candidates may have worked operationally in fleet & leasing/rental organizations or have client-side experience managing and developing owned or leased fleets.
Additional requirements include:
* Strong relationship-building skills internally and externally.
* Excellent written, verbal, and numeracy skills, with experience in report writing and data analysis.
* Pride in delivering high standards and thriving in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
