Shape Positive Futures We are recruiting a committed and resilient Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join a highly regarded primary provision based at a welcoming campus in the Poole area. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, supporting children aged 5 to 12. The Role Working hours are 8.45am to 3.30pm. You will play a key role in supporting pupils throughout the school day, helping them manage behaviour, engage with learning and build positive relationships. Supporting pupils with behavioural, emotional and social needs Working with children who may present with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and communication difficulties Providing consistent one-to-one and small group support Assisting pupils with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff to maintain a structured learning environment What We Are Looking For A minimum of six months’ childcare experience Experience supporting children or young people with SEN needs A calm, patient and resilient approach The ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils Pay and Benefits This role offers an hourly rate of £13.75.
