Duties

* Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
* Monitor food production processes to ensure quality control and consistency.
* Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
* Collaborate with the Head Chef in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and minimising waste.
Skills
* Proficient in food preparation techniques with a strong understanding of culinary principles.
* Experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting, demonstrating knowledge of kitchen operations.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively.
* Excellent communication skills to facilitate teamwork and collaboration in the kitchen.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices for maintaining hygiene in food production.
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
