Graduate Opportunity: Water Treatment Operations Manager Graduate

Water Production (Drinking Water) - Operations

Salary: £32,000

Location: Based within the Anglian Water region covering the Norwich area. Please note your placements may vary across the region and departments so flexibility is essential.

No two days are the same. Through rotational placements, you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of challenges and experiences. This dynamic environment will help you develop your technical knowledge, leadership skills, and strategic thinking. You’ll be at the heart of our mission to protect the environment and deliver exceptional service to our customers. You’ll gain hands-on experience and insight into the complexities of water management and build a strong foundation for a long-term career in the water industry.

Anglian Water abstracts, treats, and produces over 1.2 billion litres of world-class drinking water every day, serving millions of customers across the East of England. This essential service is delivered by our Water Production team, which plays a crucial role in ensuring clean, sustainable water reaches our communities. As a Water Treatment Operations Manager, you’ll be at the heart of this mission, helping to manage and optimise the performance of our water treatment assets and teams. You’ll play a key role in:

1. Supporting the delivery of operational plans across your area.

2. Collaborating with teams and partners to improve performance and customer service.

3. Helping manage operational incidents while ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are upheld.

4. Analysing data to improve asset performance, reduce risks, and support decision-making.

5. Contributing to the planning and delivery of capital projects within Water Production.

6. Coaching and supporting team members to grow and succeed in a fast-paced operational environment.
