As an Old Age Psychiatry Middle Grade Doctor, your expertise is vital for providing psychiatric services to older patients or those with similar needs at [Insert Hospital name(s)]. Your role involves comprehensive assessment, treatment, and ongoing care for conditions such as dementia, memory issues, depression, delirium, schizophrenia, and personality disorders.
Working flexible shifts at Birkenhead AMH - Stein Centre, you will collaborate closely with the mental health team to understand patient issues, develop management strategies, and utilize your therapeutic skills for recovery pathways.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
* Assess new referrals, deliver therapy, and coordinate with psychology colleagues.

* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and lead when appropriate.
* Prioritize patient needs and delegate tasks effectively.
* Monitor patient conditions, report changes, and maintain accurate records.
* Contribute to training of junior staff and students.
Qualifications/Licenses/Certifications:
* MBChB or equivalent.
* Six months recent NHS experience within the last three years.
