Overview
As a dynamic and growing accountancy firm with over 1,000 employees, we are seeking a Group Digital Growth Marketing Manager to join our innovative and forward-thinking marketing team, to support the Dains group. You will be responsible for leading our digital growth marketing and demand generation strategy, driving awareness, engagement, and qualified leads for our accountancy and advisory services. You will play a central role in both attracting new business and supporting cross-sell opportunities within our existing client base. Working closely with the wider marketing and client acquisition team, you’ll plan and execute data-driven campaigns that deliver measurable results across the full marketing funnel.
Responsibilities
* Lead Demand Generation Campaigns: Plan, manage, and optimise integrated marketing campaigns that support business development goals, focusing on new client acquisition as well as cross-sell to existing clients.
* Client Marketing & Cross-Sell: Develop and deliver targeted campaigns to existing clients, promoting relevant service lines and strengthening client relationships through timely, value-led communications.
* Email Marketing & Automation: Own the email strategy—from newsletters and thought leadership campaigns to service updates and client nurture workflows—ensuring messaging is timely, relevant, and personalised.
* Digital Acquisition Management: Oversee PPC, paid social, and SEO strategies in collaboration with internal teams and agency partners, ensuring campaigns are optimised for visibility, conversion, and cost-effectiveness.
* Website Performance & CRO: Drive website performance through improvement of web platforms and architecture, aligned to continuous testing and optimisation of landing pages and user journeys. Apply CRO best practices to improve engagement and lead conversion rates.
* Collaboration & Content Alignment: Work closely with content creators and designers to develop high-impact digital assets and ensure consistency across campaigns and channels.
* Analytics & Reporting: Use tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Search Console to track performance, evaluate ROI, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
* Marketing Technology & Compliance: Ensure all campaigns adhere to data protection and GDPR requirements and make effective use of the firm’s marketing automation platform.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* Education: Degree Level Educated or Further Education, ideally in professionally related disciplines, e.g. Marketing, Communications
* Professional Experience: 4+ years’ experience in digital or performance marketing, preferably within professional services, B2B, or regulated environments. Demonstrated success in planning and executing campaigns for both new business development and client cross-sell/retention.
* Leadership and Management Skills: Experience managing projects and influencing cross-functional teams in a consultative sales and marketing context. Strong ability to lead collaborative initiatives, manage stakeholders, and work closely with teams across the business.
* Technical Skills: Proficient in marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Mailchimp (or similar), Google Analytics, and CMS platforms including WordPress, HubSpot, or Drupal. Skilled in paid advertising platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads) with a solid understanding of PPC, paid social, SEO, and how these support lead generation and account growth.
* Communication Skills: An exceptional communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to convey complex marketing strategies clearly to stakeholders at all levels. Adept at building trust and influencing decisions through effective communication.
* Adaptability and Innovative Thinking: Creative and data-driven, with a positive mindset and a track record of adapting quickly to new tools, platforms, and changing market needs. Brings fresh, innovative thinking to campaign strategy and execution.
* Industry Knowledge: Familiar with marketing compliance and UK GDPR regulations, especially within regulated sectors such as professional services. Brings commercial insight and understanding of industry-specific marketing challenges.
* Commercial Acumen: Uses data to drive marketing decisions and measure performance. Understands how to align marketing strategies with commercial objectives, balancing creativity with regulatory and compliance requirements.
