Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking mainstream primary school in Blackpool, who have recently opened a brand-new SEN provision within their setting. Due to this exciting development, the school are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team from September.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing provision, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs within a nurturing, inclusive environment.
You will:
* Plan and deliver tailored, engaging lessons to meet individual EHCP targets
* Support pupils with a range of needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language)
* Work collaboratively with support staff, the SENCO, and external professionals
* Create a positive, structured learning environment that promotes progress and independence
* Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
* Has experience (or a strong interest) in SEN / additional needs
* Is patient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education
* Demonstrates strong behaviour management and communication skills
* Works well as part of a supportive team
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
