About The Role: Days of Working: Sun - Sat, 18.00 - 05.00 Key responsibilities: Ensure pre and post run checks are carried out and any faults or defects reported via appropriate reporting systems to the appropriate point of escalation Check that all equipment is set up in production/run mode Ensure all required production data is input and correct Ensure that machines are loaded and replenished To assist in the manual movement of product in the event of equipment failure Adhere to relevant Health and Safety requirements i.e. Safety Wear, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and Manual Handling guidelines any Health and Safety concerns are reported to the appropriate point of escalation and / or Newsprinters Help-desk. Keeping the immediate working area safe and clear of any impediments, such as trip hazards, spills, etc Skills and experience: Ability to move between areas (training permitting) to meet the needs of the business. Skilled or willing to be trained in multi areas Excellent team working skills and ability to at all times integrate with both OCS employees and Newsprinters employees. Ability to take responsibility & ownership for the various tasks involved in the working area. Good numeracy and literacy skills Ability to learn and understand the internal operating systems and processes.
