This is an opportunity to join a well established, design led architectural practice with a strong presence across the UK. The Plymouth studio forms part of a wider national network, offering the support and resources of a large organisation while maintaining a friendly, close knit studio culture. You’ll play a key role in the delivery of engaging and technically interesting projects from early design through to completion. The workload is varied and meaningful, with opportunities to take ownership, contribute creatively and work closely with colleagues, consultants and clients. The practice encourages autonomy while providing structured support and mentoring as you progress.
Responsibilities
Develop design and technical solutions across all RIBA project stages
Experienced in project leading
Produce coordinated drawings, models and technical information
Work collaboratively with consultants, contractors and internal teams
Support planning submissions and design presentations
Ensure compliance with UK building regulations and industry standards
Manage elements of projects to meet deadlines and quality expectations
Contribute to a positive, collaborative studio culture
Requirements
ARB registered Architect with solid post qualification experience
Strong design capability supported by good technical knowledge
Experience delivering UK based projects
Confident communicator with clients and project teams
Familiarity with BIM led workflows
Proficiency in 3D and technical design software
Proficiency in Revit preferred but not essential as training provided
Good understanding of UK planning processes, regulations and construction methods
Relevant Health & Safety knowledge
Experience within healthcare, education or secure sector projects is advantageous but not essential
