As a Practice Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of this firm, ensuring smooth compliance, HR management, and efficient facility coordination. Reporting directly to the Partners, you'll be at the heart of the firm, driving excellence and supporting the team every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support the Accounts and Reception teams, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
* Participate in the recruitment process, ensuring a great welcome for those joining the team.
* Oversee onboarding and offboarding procedures, making sure every team member feels valued and supported.
* Handle HR administration and employee relations, promoting a positive workplace culture.
* Prepare monthly management accounts and assist with payroll processing. Attend and record minutes at monthly Partners Meetings, contributing to strategic decisions.
* Organise and participate in biannual Partners Conferences and annual Staff Conference.
* Support the renewal process for staff benefits, Lexcel accreditation, and other certifications.
* Liaise with external stakeholders and manage client complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
* Maintain Central Registers to uphold SRA Codes of Conduct and Lexcel standards.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
* CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification.
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Practice Manager or Office Manager in a Lexcel accredited law firm with a staff size of at least 40 employees.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong time management abilities with a keen eye for detail.
* Proven problem-solving capabilities.
