About the Role
The school is seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant (TA) for a long-term position. This role involves supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and collaborating closely with a team of TAs and teachers to ensure all pupils receive the support they need. This position offers flexible hours and may include additional days to cover ad hoc course cover, staff absence, or other needs.
Key Requirements
Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification, or at least six months’ experience working with children in an educational setting
Proven experience delivering interventions with pupils – essential
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
Experience providing one-to-one support for children with additional learning needs
