Experienced Teaching assistant | Chorley area | from £89 per day | Full-time and Part-time positions
Responsibilities
* Provide whole class, group and 1-1 support to children who may have varying special educational needs or challenging behaviour.
* Work alongside other school professionals, including the class teacher and SENCO, to ensure that children can access the curriculum and have their wider needs met.
* Support in a range of settings within the Chorley area, including mainstream schools, pupil referral units, alternative provision, primary and secondary schools.
What we are looking for
* At least 6 months school experience working with children with a range of special educational needs.
* A calm, consistent approach to managing challenging behaviour.
* Flexibility to work during school hours - 8:30am–4:00pm.
* Ability to reliably commute within Chorley and the surrounding areas, preferably by driving.
