Trowbridge Ford is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop team based in Trowbridge, where we are main dealers for Ford cars and commercial vehicles.
Whilst there will be an opportunity to work on all makes & models, you will be working mainly on Ford commercial vehicles and required to complete a mixture of online & physical training to ensure we continue to meet our brand standards and also develop your knowledge of the brand and any future technology or products.
We offer a generous basic salary of up to £36,000 p.a subject to qualifications & experience, plus a monthly bonus scheme (worth up to £2,400 p.a) and unlimited overtime paid at time and a half.
This is a full-time role, working Monday - Friday 08.30 am - 5 pm, and Saturdays on a Rota basis of approximately 1 in 4, paid at the overtime rate.

Responsibilities:
* Undertake diagnostic activities to identify causes & solutions for customer vehicle issues
* Routine service & maintenance - all makes & models (including motorhomes)
* Carry out repairs on brakes, suspension and exhaust systems
* Perform MOT test on vehicles according to regulatory standards
* Inspect vehicles for safety and emissions compliance
* Provide accurate and detailed reports on the condition of the vehicles
Experience:
* Qualified level 3 technician (NVQ or equivalent with minimum 3 years experience, post qualification)
* MOT license (preferred but not essential as training could be provided)
* Good communication skills to interact with customers, colleagues and technical support
Please note that heavy lifting may be required in this role.
A full UK driving license is required.
