Overview

As an Administrator Apprentice, you will play a key supporting role within our Head Office team, helping to ensure the smooth running of essential business processes across client services, finance, payroll, and systems administration. Working as part of a supportive team, you will gain hands‑on experience in a variety of operational areas including client onboarding, invoicing, payroll support, and data management using our core system (People Planner) and associated platforms.


Responsibilities

* Ensure client records are accurate and up‑to‑date from onboarding through to live service delivery
* Complete invoicing and billing processes accurately and issue them in a timely manner
* Check and prepare payroll data accurately to support monthly payroll runs
* Maintain employee and client information consistently across systems
* Monitor and keep operational data (planned vs actual activity) accurate for reporting
* Support credit control and Direct Debit processes through basic administration tasks
* Record and check utility and finance‑related data to support management accounts

You will also support regular data quality checks, help identify and elevate discrepancies, and contribute to maintaining high standards of accuracy across all administrative processes. This is a varied and fast‑paced role where you will learn to prioritise tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and develop strong attention to detail.

* Punctual and professional in all aspects of your work
* Demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Willing to take direction and follow instructions
* Understand the role and show enthusiasm to learn about the social care sector
* Committed to both the company and your personal development throughout the apprenticeship
* Able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to GDPR principles
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* Good attention to detail
* Able to use a computer
