The Role We are looking for a Contract Manager to join our London Installation team. Preferably with experience of working as either a contracts manager or project manager on a complex and diverse range of projects you will ideally have experience from within the lift or construction industry. You will combine management experience to oversee our installation contracts from sales handover to project completion and be responsible for overall project performance and profitability. Possessing a PRINCE II or equivalent project management qualification would be advantageous, you should be conversant with General Arrangement drawings and able to plan, prioritise, organise and assign tasks, adapting your style to effectively train and pass on knowledge to others. Key Responsibilities Managing multiple installation projects of various sizes and revenue Managing direct and subcontract labour, materials and the finances of the project from start to completion Ensuring final testing, commissioning and handover are completed in line with timescales set by the client Maintaining customer relationships ensuring that targets and timescales are achieved and that all parties involved in the project are fully informed at key stages of the process Supervising your direct reports and dealing with any issues that arise, whilst ensuring that accurate management reports on company bespoke systems regarding job progress, forecasts etc are completed diligently and in a timely manner. Using contractual awareness to ensure the companies risk is minimised and to ensure that revenue is maximised via additional variation works on each project. What Were Looking For Must have an understanding of costing construction (preferably lift installation) contracts and variations with due regard for all variables. Needs to have a good network of contacts to source and negotiate good rates with quality sub-contractors.
