Duties:- Perform MOT tests on vehicles to ensure they meet safety and environmental standards- Inspect vehicle components, including brakes, tires, lights, and emissions systems- Identify and document any defects or issues found during the inspection- Advise on necessary repairs or maintenance to pass the MOT test- Conduct retests after repairs have been made to ensure compliance with regulations- Keep accurate records of all tests conducted and results obtainedExperience:- Previous experience as an MOT Tester or in a similar automotive role is required- Strong knowledge of auto body repair and mechanics- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential safety hazards- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and colleaguesNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
