Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the strategic, operational and clinical management of the Radiotherapy Service and will be responsible for managing and developing services to meet current and future needs and for the delivery of the service in accordance with IR(ME)R, acting as IRMER Supervisor under IRMER, Radiotherapy Service specification, ISO 9001/2015 Quality standards, UHCW NHS Trust Clinical Governance framework and NHS England requirements.
* Direct and manage the introduction of new, improved and optimised treatment and planning techniques and service improvements, utilising best available evidence, national guidance and results from research and development.
* Manage the service and resources of the Radiotherapy Department ensuring that services are delivered in a timely manner, in accordance with national and local targets and policies, within budget by trained and competent staff with clear objectives.
* Provide effective professional leadership for all Therapeutic Radiographers within the Trust and taking account of relevant legal, ethical and professional frameworks and maintaining high professional standards.
* Ensure that resources are available as appropriate through service planning.
* Provide external representation for the Radiotherapy service of the Arden Cancer Centre.
