Finance Manager – Financial Reporting & Compliance

Are you a technically strong, qualified accountant with a passion for driving excellence across financial reporting, compliance, and team leadership?
We’re partnering with a globally iconic energy drinks business that has rapidly expanded across the EMEA region and continues to dominate its category. With a strong presence in over 30 markets and ambitious growth targets, they’re now looking to appoint a Finance Manager to support their regional financial operations.
Position Overview
This role supports the EMEA Entity Controller and wider finance function, owning the financial reporting, statutory compliance, and internal controls for multiple legal entities across the region.
You will manage a small team, ensure timely and accurate reporting, and liaise closely with external partners, auditors, and stakeholders across the business.
Responsibilities
* Lead financial reporting and compliance for multiple EMEA entities
* Manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes
* Provide insightful commentary on P&L and balance sheet movements
* Prepare and review statutory accounts and tax filings (VAT, CIT, AFS)
* Coordinate and manage external/internal audits
* Line manage and mentor at least two direct reports, driving team development
* Build relationships with external service providers and ensure SLAs are met
* Ensure accurate accounting and compliance with global policies and procedures
* Monitor taxation requirements and collaborate with global tax teams
* Support on ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives
Key Skills & Experience
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Experience preparing financial statements and managing audits
* Previous team leadership experience
* Experience working in multi-national, multi-entity environments (FMCG ideal)
* Strong SAP and advanced Excel skills
* Sound understanding of tax, statutory accounting, and compliance
* Project management exposure preferred
