The Quality Manager owns the development and execution of quality strategies at the Emerson Manchester plant, with a strong focus on customer happiness and supplier quality performance. This role coordinates the full Quality Management System, covering shop floor processes (pre-cert, calibration, rework/scrap), customer documentation, inspections, returns, and supplier audits. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* Lead and handle the day-to-day activities of the quality team, ensuring operational commitments are met while driving continuous improvement. Coordinate internal audits and ensure compliance with standards, approvals, and customer requirements, including hosting audits and visits;
* Develop visual tracking tools to measure all aspects of quality, supporting the highest standards for customers. Prepare month-end reports for senior management to meet business targets;
* Provide coaching, feedback, and support to team members to promote growth and development within the Quality team;
* Collaborate with internal and external partners to improve quality culture and processes, focusing on automation and better ways of working for continuous improvement;
* Focus on reducing scrap and rework, ensuring gauges and tools are calibrated, and product handling through pre-cert areas is efficient;
* Create strategies and processes for Supplier Quality, including conducting supplier audits and ensuring compliance. Work with Supply Quality Engineer and Manufacturing to address NCRs using quality tools like RCCM, D FMEA;
* Ensure team completes all customer order requirements, including third-party inspections, preparing quality documentation, managing ITPs, and understanding NDE/NDT results to control materials;
* Regularly evaluate and audit processes, driving quality improvements and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements;
* Lead customer approvals and product certifications, maintaining standards and supporting new standards to enhance sales, with proper documentation and audit evidence.

For This Role, You Will Need:
* Qualified in Lean Six Sigma & Quality Systems;
* Excellent leadership skills and passion for influencing others;
* Several years of management experience in manufacturing, with leadership experience;
* Proficiency in SAP and MRP systems;
* Outstanding customer-centric approach, partnering effectively with external stakeholders.
