Job Description CNC Turner – Nightshift Salary: £20 per hour Location: Near Hemel Hempstead Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday 7pm - 5am {4-day working week} A leading precision engineering business near Hemel Hempstead is looking to add a skilled CNC Turner to their twilight shift team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable, well-established company supplying high-spec components to the aerospace industry. What’s on Offer: Monday to Thursday 7pm - 5am {4-day working week} Clean, modern manufacturing facility Consistent, long-term opportunity CNC Turner Responsibilities: Operate and set CNC lathes (Fanuc-controlled Takisawa machines) to produce precision aerospace parts Manufacture small to medium batch components to tolerances of /- 0.025mm (and occasionally /- 0.0125mm) Work with a range of materials including stainless steel, titanium, Inconel, and aluminium Assist in developing manufacturing methods for new products Maintain accurate job timings and contribute to continuous improvement activities on the shop floor CNC Turner Requirements: Experience operating and setting CNC turning machines within aerospace or similar high-spec industry Competent with Fanuc controls; experience on CMZ or Takisawa machines is beneficial Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering instructions Self-sufficient and capable of identifying and solving machining issues Ideally apprentice-trained or qualified by experience Click apply to speak to one of our consultants today.
