The role
As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. The purpose of the Licensed Aircraft Engineer role is to provide a CRS signature as required, for all work carried out on company aircraft when appropriate to release an aircraft to service after defect rectification or scheduled maintenance.
Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
1. Airworthiness of all aircraft
2. Supervision of inspectors and technician line and hanger duties
3. Ensuring all H&S standards are complied with to regulatory standards
4. Reporting into line management and stakeholder in accordance with company policies and procedures
5. Training, developing and mentoring staff.
This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Aldergrove.
Essential experience of the Licensed Aircraft Engineer:
6. Supervisory experience in a Civil/Military Aviation environment.
7. Sound understanding of partnering and alliance between customer and contract.
Qualifications for the Licensed Aircraft Engineer:
8. CAA Part 66, B1.2 license.
9. Driving Licence.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Terrorist Check (CTC) and DBS security clearance for this role.
